The Short Version

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and book, the site earns a commission. You pay exactly the same price you would have paid anyway. Nothing on this page changes that, and nothing elsewhere on the site hides it.

The Longer Version

London Museums lists 48 museums and museum-like attractions. Of those, 20 are free to enter and 28 charge admission. 25 of the 48 sell tickets through a booking platform, and for those listings the site uses affiliate links with GetYourGuide, Viator, Tiqets and GuruWalk. When a reader books through one of those links, the platform pays the site a commission. The reader pays no more than the platform's standard price. The commission comes out of the platform's side, not yours.

The other 23 listings earn the site nothing. This is the part worth spelling out. Free museums get no buy button at all, because there is nothing to buy and no reason to insert a middleman into a walk-in. Paid museums that do not sell through any reseller are linked to their own official ticket page, where the museum keeps the whole ticket price. The site earns nothing from those links, and that is deliberate: sending you to the museum's own page is the honest option.

Two museums, Keats House and John Wesley's House, sell no ticket online anywhere. Their listings are marked door-only.

The site also lists free, pay-what-you-want walking tours booked through GuruWalk. These tours are genuinely free to book: you reserve a place at no cost and tip the guide afterwards if you want to. The site earns a commission when a reader books one of these tours through its links.

What This Means For You

You never need to use an affiliate link. Every booking link sits beside the museum's name, and you can always go to the museum's own website and book directly if you prefer. The commission arrangement affects which links appear, but it does not affect which museums appear: free museums are listed with the same care as paid ones, even though they earn the site nothing.

If a price on this site ever differs from the price you see at checkout, the checkout price wins. Prices are checked against each museum's own ticket page, but museums change their pricing without notice, and the site would rather you trusted the seller than the directory.
