What The Site Answers
London Museums is a guide to 48 London museums and museum-like attractions, plus 14 guides and a set of answered questions. It answers questions of the sort the site exists for: which museums are free, what a museum charges, what the opening hours are said to be by the museum itself, whether a place can be booked online, and where the official ticket page is.
Corrections are especially welcome. If you spot a wrong price, a stale opening time, or a museum that has started charging when its listing says free, send it in. A correction to a price or an opening time is the single most useful email this site can receive. Corrections are checked against the museum's own listings and then fixed.
What The Site Cannot Do
- It cannot book a ticket for you.
- It cannot change a booking.
- It cannot cancel or refund a ticket.
This is worth stating plainly. The site does not sell tickets and has no access to any booking system. Every booking made through this site goes to a platform or to the museum itself, and every cancellation, amendment or refund has to go back the same way. If your booking went through a platform, contact that platform. If it went through the museum's own ticket page, contact the museum. Either way, the site cannot see your order and cannot act on it.
What Else The Site Cannot Help With
The site cannot secure free tickets to paid museums, arrange access, answer questions about a specific booking, or speak for any museum. It is an independent guide with no affiliation to any museum, to Visit London, or to any UK public body.
